ReplyDeleteAh, thank you for your lovely flower blog. The Red Everlasting was such a surprise with its unusual name. I had to google it, and I found some fascinating stories. I'm sure you know them much better than I do. I just wanted to say that your blog makes me very happy. I love flowers.🌸

ReplyDeleteThe milk thistle. I have been discussing with my husband about adding milk thistle loose tea in our tea rotation, but I have to check first if it's available in our local tea shop.
ReplyDeleteI love my camera and heading out doing the out and about pics. Nice job
ReplyDeleteBeautifully captured! The lighting and details work together wonderfully and make this picture especially enjoyable to see.

Even with all it's pointiness and weediness, I'm a thistle fan. Who can resist those purple flowers??
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! You are a talented photographer, my dear. And I sure hope your corn gives you a wonderful crop. :D
ReplyDeleteThat is the unmistakable Milk Thistle, a striking and resilient plant belonging to the daisy and sunflower family (Asteraceae). Those fierce, sharp spines and lovely purple flower heads give it such a fierce, protective character in the wild, while its milky-white leaf veins carry a rich history of traditional herbal use.
